The whimsical machine ninja that likes to surf the Internet has turned up as a playable character in Soul Calibur VI. Yoshimitsu comes equipped with his familiar Manji Sword and Fu Ma Blade and fights using the style of Manji Ninjitsu. Bandai Namco is set to release Душа Калібур VI sometime this year for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Yoshimitsu has a lot of trickery in his moves, some of which are convoluted and some of which that aren’t all that convoluted but take advantage of a lot of the stage’s real estate in a strange way. I’m sure players who master Yoshimitsu can be a real pain to fight, but I’m sure that goes the same way with other characters, although time will tell with that.

In addition to the above, Yoshimitsu’s fighting style, Manji Ninjitsu, offers players the ability to spin and play a lot of movement tricks on opponents, as seen above in his reveal trailer.
