The hiatus is likely aimed to achieve two effects. Chiefly it will allow any negative sentiment built up over Останній джедай та Підйом Скайуокера to fade with a few years of ideally for Disney popular show and well-received shows before developing the next movie. Secondly and potentially, more importantly, is the shift to Disney Plus removes all creative input from Kathleen Kennedy allowing her to ride out the duration of her contract, which expires in 2021.

Without a doubt, Мандалорський in October will see users returning in droves, but the other woke content has never been a major draw, nor has the Winter Soldier and the Falcon proven themselves crowd draws.
