Agatha Knife — це сатирична пригодницька гра про різання тварин?

Well, when I clicked on this game I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be about a young girl’s love for animals, and how she slaughters them and eats them. But lo and behold, developers Mango Protocal’s game Агата Ніж, is exactly that.

You play as Agatha, a seven-year-old girl that works in her mother’s butcher shop. Yes, that’s right, you play as a seven-year-old animal butcher. Agatha finds herself in quite the predicament as she loves animals and being their friend, but she also enjoys eating them just as much. Agatha wants to remain friends with the animals, but she also doesn’t want them to be afraid of her since their fate ends with her slicing them up and eating them. That is quite the conundrum!

Агата Ніж is a handcrafted point-and-click adventure game, with cute 2D cartoon graphics. The story will take you on a grand journey filled with satire and dark humor, interesting characters, and controversial issues, as you find a way to remove the animals fear of death and being eaten.

I think the dark humor mixed with cute 2D characters makes this game stand out from the crowd as being something fun and original to give a good laugh. The art style reminds me a bit of something you might see on the Cartoon Network that might air alongside a show like Finn And Jake or Steven´s Universe. The developers released a teaser for Агата Ніж, so take a look at the Steam Greenlight trailer that I linked down below that shows a bit of the story and the gameplay.

I find the in’game text a bit difficult to read, but overall the concept seems interesting. Агата Ніж is scheduled for a Spring 2017 release date, and the developers currently have the game on Профіль Greenlight as they seek votes to get their game approved for the Steam Store.
