PS4 owners will be able to gain access to the physical standalone release of Службовий обов'язок: Modern Warfare Remastered. The standalone release will feature 16 multiplayer maps from the original Службовий обов'язок 4: Modern Warfare and the full campaign mode. The game will be available both physically at local retailers and digitally via the PlayStation Network starting June 27th next Tuesday.
According to Brian Raffel, the studio head of Raven Software who helped with the remastered edition of the military first-person shooter, it was all about player demand, saying in the press release…
“It’s been an honor to bring this great title, which holds such a special place in our hearts, to a new generation of players,” […] “With Modern Warfare Remastered, we’re able to relive our favorite campaign levels and multiplayer moments in full HD visuals and remastered audio. No detail was too small, as the team pored over every aspect of development.”

Originally Activision and Infinity Ward hitched the remastered version of the game to the deluxe edition of Службовий обов'язок: Нескінченна війна. There were reports that a large portion of Нескінченна війна sales was due to the deluxe edition, with a lot of people wanting to get their hands on the remastered version of the original next-gen shooter from Infinity Ward from a decade ago, but they were forced to pay the $100 to do so.
