Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released a new batch of screenshots showing a new playable character, Xun You, who is accompanied by familiar faces like Zhang Fei, Xiahou Yuan, Xiaoqiao, Daqiao, Zhuge Liang, and Lu Lingqi. New story chapters are detailed too, which the actual game is set to launch for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
First up comes the latest characters that will be in Dynasty Warriors 9, which consists of Xun You, Xiahou Yuan, Xiaoqiao, Daqiao, Zhuge Liang, Zhang Fei, and Lu Lingqi.
Сюнь Ю – An intelligent strategist who is under Cao Cao. He thought up many great strategies in many noteworthy wars, and guided Cao Cao’s army to victory on several occasions. He happens to be a relative of Xun Yu.
Сяохоу Юань – Serving with his cousin Xiahou Dun under Cao Cao, he is a capable leader who is known for his ability to carry out lightning fast attacks, and is particularly skilled with the bow and arrow.
Сяоцяо – The daughter of Qiao Xuan and future wife of Zhou Yu, she is the sister of Daqiao, and is famous throughout the land as one of the beautiful “Two Qiaos.” Said to have joined her husband on the battlefield partly on a whim. For this reason, she often shows a rare sort of courage on the battlefield.
Дацяо – happens to be the daughter of Qiao Xuan and future wife of Sun Ce. With her sister, Xiaoqiao, she is one of the proclaimed beauties of her time and is known as one of the “Two Qiaos.” A gentle soul, she dislikes fighting and is weary of the chaotic times.
Чжан Фей – Brother by oath to Liu Bei and the iconic Guan Yu, this strong and very fierce fighter is eager to participate in any battle. Alone, the strong warrior held off Cao Cao’s entire force with a single yell. However, he loves to drink and this habit gets him into lots of trouble.
Чжунг Лян – A superior strategist and great mind, he joins Liu Bei in order to repay the honor of three visits that Liu Bei made to him. With keen observation and impartial conduct, he gains the trust of an entire nation and goes on to change the course of many battles.
Лу Лінгкі – The daughter of Lu Bu, she possesses his fierce fighting ability, and uses her courage to stand on the front lines of any battle. Her headstrong spirit enables her to face any hardship, although she has a great fear of loneliness due to an incident from her past.
