Команда CD Projekt Red розширюється, а Дуг Кокл розповідає про Cyberpunk 2077 і Witcher 4

CD Projekt Red is still hiring people for its upcoming game Кіберпанк 2077. Accompanying the latest job listings for an environment artist, Geralt of Rivia voice actor, Doug Cockle, talked about both Кіберпанк 2077 та Відьмак 4.

Час кіберпанк seems to be most active as of recent and will hopefully continue, because I’m hard up for all things Кіберпанк 2077.

Keeping up with the cow tracks, back on January 10th, 2013, CD Projekt Red flaunted Кіберпанк 2077 teaser trailer with a description that reads “The teaser shows how the Psycho Squad might acquire a new member.” The video created a lot of buzz, but shortly afterwards the game’s development faced several problems resulting in the REDEngine having to be upgraded to REDEngine 4.

Now that the dev team has time, after finishing up the Witcher 3 and GWENT, equipment and hardware for the upcoming game just needs more heads behind it to make it work, which is happening right now through the expansion of both CD Projekt Red’s Warsaw and Krakow teams. The останній крок calls for Senior Environment Artists and Environment Artists, as seen below.

This is good news given that the team is hard at work building up the world of Кіберпанк 2077. Nevertheless, we have proof that the team is serious about bringing you, gamers, Кіберпанк 2077 thanks to Geralt of Rivia voice actor Doug Cockle.

За даними сайту видання GameRant, we learn that Cockle was asked about the Witcher 4 at EGX 2017 and stated the following:

“I know nothing about The Witcher 4,” said Cockle during a panel at EGX 2017 today discussing his future work. “I know they’re very much focusing on Cyberpunk.”

There it is, the confirmation that Кіберпанк 2077 is not abandoned or lost forever, however he went on to say that…

“What I have discussed is the idea of me being involved somehow,” said Cockle of Cyberpunk 2077. “Whether that’s a major part or just an Easter egg. I hope so, I really enjoy working with them. But I haven’t had significant contact. We have jokingly talked about it.”

Given that CD Projekt Red and Cockle jokingly talked about him being an Easter egg still means that he could show up, which means that it is best to follow him if you want to find out if he’s likely to get a job doing a voice over for a character in CD Projekt Red’s forthcoming game.

Until then look out for the tabletop game since it will be an indicator for the video game adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077’s release, that is according to Mike Pondsmith.
